Considering the international position of Iran ,the world handicrafts and also in view of comprehensive support of Isfahan Municipality in the field of development of urban entrepreneurial ecosystem considering the focuse on handicrafts and art in the form of a large plan of Isfahan 2020, the first international festival of Iran handicrafts with the symbol of creative hand was launched by the formation of a policy council consisting of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Isfahan ,Tourism and Handicrafts and Deputy of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of that ministry ,the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ,the General Directorate of cultural Heritage of Isfahan ,The Islamic council of The City, Isfahan Municipality.
Cafel Holding as the executer and organizer of the festival launched its activities by creating the executive secretariat,faculty or scientific panel,the referee committee etc ,meanwhile by providing a call for elites ,artists and intellectual and educated individuals in different fields of handicrafts in conferences and summits , international competitions and workshops and side programs of festival, including; planned researches and scans ,with the help of creating contacts and being in touch with the general departments 31 provinces and also 25 countries, has plays significant role with the aim of tourism and handicrafts exports by providing necessary conditions for their presence in this artistic field Isfahan is the cradle of art and science, innovation,creativity and is the world city of handicrafts. Nowadays in such condition in which all countries considering tourism and handicrafts as an opportunity to expand their macroeconomic goals, despite of having a long ancient culture and civilization of several thousands years, Iran needs to have compilation of a developmental plan based on economic realities to exit the oil-dependent economy and based on expand of tourism and sustainable handicrafts
